AMC and Survios Inc. recently updated its fans that they are in the final stages of development for the VR game set in The Walking Dead universe announcing via their youtube channel that Norman Reedus will reprise his role of Daryl Dixon.

It has been over a year since AMC first announced that it was teaming up with Survios Inc. to create The Walking Dead Onslaught. Reedus provided fans with an update in a selfie style promo in which he showcased the makeshift studio he completed his voiceover work for the game. The makeshift studio was no doubt supplied by Survios so that Reedus could complete the voiceover work in which he “screams his head head off” without the thread of COVID-19 exposure.
The new promo video teases more game playing footage will be released before fall. COVID-19 has impacted this year’s convention season, but fans are hopeful that more Onslaught footage will be released during San Diego’s Comic Con@home.
In addition to the voiceover work from Reedus, Onslaught has also tapped Melissa McBride as Carol and Josh McDermitt as Eugene.
